While CANDIES is well known as an innovator in vessel design, we still ascribe to the philosophy that our people are our best asset. Every member of our vessels’ crews has received the very best training in their respective field and is up-to-date with the latest certifications and education.

It is our position that no job is too important to risk the safety of personnel, equipment or the environment. Each CANDIES crewmember is empowered with the ability to stop work if an unsafe situation is observed. And our crewmembers have the knowledge and equipment to rectify any unsafe circumstance. We are proud of our safety record, but not surprised by it, for we believe that when you dedicate so much effort to safe operations, “zero accidents” is a possibility.
